Statistics as of November 1, 2010:

  • 2208 active single-family Boise homes listings were available as of November 1st.
  • 39% of these homes are "distressed properties" 
  • 291 are REO by banks (foreclosures) and 
  • 577 are short sales (26%).

Where have Home Prices in the Boise Valley been and where are they going?

Following is an interesting graph, showing the bubble of home prices for both Canyon County real estate and Ada County real estate, here in the Treasure Valley, Idaho.

The peak of pricing was late 2006 and early 2007.  The average sales price for Canyon County for September, 2010, is very close to what it was in September 2002.

  • The average Boise Idaho Sales Price for a single family residence for 9-30-2010 was $178,431
  • The average Boise Idaho Sales Price for a single family residence for 9-30-2009 was $195,621

Boise Real Estate Sales are up!

There have been approx. 15% more Boise homes sold during the 1st 3 quarters of 2010 as there were Boise homes sold for the first 3 quarters of 2009.
